Beth has extensive training in neurotoxins, dermal fillers, IPL, and laser operation and began her aesthetic career in Beverly Hills in 2002. She is a former national trainer and educator for the Lumenis Laser Corporation-Aesthetic Division-training physicians, nurses and aestheticians in the use of lasers and IPL devices and was also on the Speaker’s Bureau for Allergan Medical Aesthetics.

Beth opened Luxe Aesthetic Center in May 2006 delivering quality service to her patients and achieved national status as a preceptor and training site for the Lumenis Corporation. Dr. Haney created and taught the first online and hands-on aesthetics courses on neurotoxins and dermal fillers in the entire University of California system through the University of California, Irvine Distance Learning program.

Dr. Haney is author of the textbook, Aesthetic Procedures: Nurse Practitioner’s Guide to Cosmetic Dermatology (2019) published by Springer and a contributing author for  Dermatology Essentials for Nursing: a Core Curriculum (3rd edition, 2016) published by Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins.

For people who want to learn more about aesthetics in the consumer realm, Dr. Haney wrote Be You-T-Full: Looking Your Best With Botox, Lasers, and Other Magical Cosmetic Treatments (2012), a book on cosmetic treatments and non-surgical options for men and women who choose not to partake in surgical procedures but seek information on rejuvenation treatments. The book is a fun, entertaining read but will also afford a large amount of useful information on subjects many people want to know but don’t know how or who to ask.

Dr. Haney is a champion for health care, education, and Nurse Practitioners and works tirelessly to ensure patient safety through knowledge sharing and public policy. Beth serves on the American Association of Nurse Practitioners Health Policy Committee, is past president of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners, and is a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Nursing.

In addition, she was sought out to provide her expertise for a national online aesthetics production in conjunction with Med-IQ, a U.S. Medical Education Company and The American Association for Nurse Practitioners in 2019. Lastly, she currently serves her community as former Mayor of Yorba Linda and works to keep the city safe, beautiful, and business friendly. To read more, visit the City of Yorba Linda website here.
