If you are looking to treat dark spots, fine lines, acne or reddish acne scars, clogged pores or just want an overall boost to your skin tone and texture, our VI Peel treatment may be right for you. Our skin is made up of several layers. The highest, most superficial layer is called the stratum corneum. Below the surface is the epidermis and the deepest level of your skin is called the dermis. Most chemical peels such as the VI Peel work in the superficial layers and have little to no downtime.

Chemical peels fall in to three categories: superficial or light, medium and deep. Superficial peels, like glycolic are the most mild and safe for all skin types. Medium depth peels, such as the VI Peel, penetrate the epidermis and are very effective for anti-aging and help to lighten brown discoloration from sun damage. Deep peels are very invasive and have long recovery times, sometimes up to 14 days.

VI Peels are safe for all skin types, it has a numbing agent, so it is virtually pain free and offers minimal down time. On average, one can expect flaking to peeling starting at day 3 through day 7 after treatment. The VI can range from a light to medium depth peel depending on technique and application used. The peel is comprised of a blend of powerful ingredients like TCA, Salicylic Acid, Retin-A and Vitamin C at lower concentrations to transform the health of anyone’s skin.
