Botox®, Dysport®, and Daxxify™ is injected directly into the muscle. The most common locations for treatment are in the upper third of the face – the frown line, crows’ feet, and the forehead lines. Contrary to popular belief, frown lines are not always caused by age. While age is certainly a factor, repeated facial movements, such as frowning or squinting, can also create frown lines, which means they may even develop in younger adults.

Treatment

Our professionals administer these medications using a tiny needle that goes into the skin and muscle. The treatment is virtually painless, requires no anesthetic and takes approximately 10 – 15 minutes. The effects of the Botox®, Dysport®, or Daxxify™ can take 2 – 14 days to reach full potential and usually last about 3-4 months; up to 6-9 months with Daxxify™.

Results

Prior to your treatment, to help prevent bruising we recommend not drinking alcohol 24 hours prior to your treatment and avoid taking aspirin or other blood thinners like ibuprofen 4 – 7 days prior to your treatment (unless taken for other medical issues, i.e. heart conditions). We recommend taking homeopathic Arnica Montana tablets at least 3 days prior to your treatment.
