The treatment consists of multiple pulses of intense light applied to the area of concern. Treatment typically takes about 10-20 minutes and begins on cleansed skin, with a cool, clear gel applied to the area to be treated. Dark goggles or eye pads will be given to protect your eyes from irritation.

The smooth glass surface of the IPL crystal is gently applied to your skin and pulses of light are applied. A slight warm stinging sensation, similar to a rubber band snap, might be felt.
